So who are we? We are a family owned business that was established in 1959 by Kelvin Smith. Kelvin originally named the business Town & Country Contractors.

As the years went by, Kelvin passed his knowledge onto his two sons Graeme and Gary Smith. Graeme completed his apprenticeship in 1990. He then went into partnership with Kelvin in 1992.

Graeme took over the business in 2006 and now has over 32 years experience. In 2018, they renamed the business G.A.S Painting & Decorating Qld, which are Graeme’s initials – Graeme Andrew Smith.

We know that we have quite the story. But that story means that we’ve had generations to perfect the craft that we’re in. We know what we’re talking about, and our family has dedicated their lives to this operation.
